St. Patrick's Day cometh...

Those of you who know me personally are aware of my Irish heritage. It's rather obvious, if I do say so myself. I've got pale skin, freckles, red hair, and I love me some meat and potatoes! Nevertheless, my Crafty Counterpart, Brandi, and I are on a wreath kick lately. We hooked it up with the V-Day wreaths, but since that's over, it's time to move onto the next holiday...St. Patrick's Day!! We gathered up the babe (she is so supportive of her mom and Auntie's craft addiction, especially since she gets hauled to the craft store at least once a week...sometimes more...) and headed off to the craft store for supplies. This time we managed to still only spend about $5 per wreath! Excellent work!!

Here is the naked wreath...

Here's all the swag we got for our wreaths!!

Then JJ lent a hand...

Here I am holding both our wreaths...Brandi's is on the left and mine is on the right.

And the final product on my back door!

I hope everyone has a safe and fun St. Patrick's Day! :)

Happy Crafting,

Cute Cowel

I made one of these for myself and decided that I hated how it looked. So my friend Lisa said she loved it and inherited it. Her mom saw it and wanted one too. I actually made her mom's right because I figured out the stitch properly and how the whole thing goes together (the first one is usually a practice one, right?). I'm pretty proud of it. Now I'm making one for my friend Mandy. :)

Pause for the sap...

I just need to say this and then it's back to crafts and the world:

This last six months have been crazy. Lots of changes, lots of new things (many good, some bad), and it’s taken a strain on my soul and heart. I just want to take a minute to thank all of you who are my true friends and have stuck by me through thick and thin. Thank you to those of you who have been there for me despite my yelling and cranky state-of-mind; those of you who have loved me even at my worst. Thank you for listening, loving, yelling back, crafting, putting up with my crap, and supporting me in all my decisions. You truly are my rock and I am ever so grateful to have you in my life.

BFF: I don’t know what I’d do without you. I can’t ever thank you enough for everything you do for me. You bring joy and craftiness into my life and every day with you is a new adventure. Thank you for being my bff and supporting me through it all. I really do love you.
